Safari is a mix of culture and adventure. These trips involve visiting
remote villages, monasteries
etc. to feel the culture and passing through the rugged train of the
Himalayas. It involves experiencing the remote cultures and the people. We organize jeep
safari in Himalayas & Trans Himalayas. Jeeps
accommodating a maximum of two guests are used to organize these tours.
The guests are taken to remote destinations, which do not provide the best
of comforts and even lack basic facilities like good roads, electricity,
hotels etc. Hence, every possible arrangements are made to make the trip
as comfortable as possible. A cook and a guide always accompany the guests
to set up camp, cook hygienic & hot meals and take good care. Basic
accommodation is available at most of the places providing facilities like
attached toilets, cozy rooms and hot water etc. Camping at a scenic spot
or near a water source is done where accommodation is not available. The guests may
visit the remote villages, meet tribal people and witness the life style.
These tribal people living in the remote areas of the Himalayas bear a
cultural similarity to the people of Leh and Tibet. Some of the
tours are : (all the tours can be tailor made to start and end in Delhi) This
tour will take you to the tribal regions of
Himachal Pradesh. Experience the life style & culture of the
people of Lahaul & Spiti and Kinnaur. View some of the most
fascinating and thousand years old monasteries. The tour will end in
Shimla, once summer capital of India. This
tour will take you to the Lahaul valley over & across Rohtang Pass.
You will experience the difference in landscape, life style and culture on
two sides of the mountain pass viz. Kullu and Lahaul valley. After
visiting Lahaul valley cross yet another mountain pass, Kunzam Pass to
land up in Spiti valley. In Spiti valley visit some very remote villages
also regarded as one of the World’s highest ones and also some
enchanting old Buddhist monasteries. This tour will take you from Kullu valley to the little Lahsa ‘Leh’. Travel across one of the World’s highest roads to visit some very famous Buddhist monasteries in Ladakh region. |
