This is a strenuous trek and requires a lot of will and stamina. The thrill includes trekking in the beautiful Zanskar region, the topography of which at times is compared to that of moon. It involves grossing high passes and descending steeply back down to river valleys before climbing yet another pass. This trek finally leads you to Lamayuru monastery where the trek ends. Leh is only 147 kms here and a transfer can be organized at an extra cost.
